The Power Heater Gauntlet Mitt is designed for skiers who don’t want to let frozen fingers ruin a good day on the slopes. As a mitten, it offers extra warm comfort, with a hardwearing goatskin and softshell outer and a waterproof and breathable CZone membrane. The liner is made of microfleece, with synthetic insulation that insulates and wicks away moisture. [/br] *NB: At highest power, the heat in the panels is close to body temperature, supporting the hand’s own warmth – they will therefore not feel ‘hot’ when you put the glove on. It is this supporting warmth combined with the insulation in the glove that helps to keep the fingers warm. [/br] The right size is important to ensure the heated panels work properly. Too big a glove will mean a greater distance between the heated panels and the fingertips, thus reducing the heating capacity. If you have a very narrow hand, you should consider going down a size. An alternative option is to use a heated liner combined with a traditional ski glove. [/br] You can test the heating function by fully charging the batteries and turning the heating system to its highest setting. After a few minutes, put on the gloves and all your fingers should feel distinctly warm. Keep the heated panels on at the highest setting and check that the heating system’s LEDs remain lit for about 2–2.5 hours (applies to 4000 mAh battery pack). The reMix Mitt is a hardwearing mitten made from waste materials – treated goatskin and cowhide which wouldn’t otherwise be used in ordinary production. Using leather with minor visual defects or variations in colour is a way of helping to reduce waste without compromising on function or quality. The design is classic with a short cuff and elasticated wrist, with sections in contrasting colours creating an attractive, unique look. The wool liner is removable, making it easy to wash or dry. When the liner is worn out, it can be replaced – another way of using our resources sustainably. Note: Because this mitten is made from waste materials, it is only available in a limited edition.

Hestra's Army Leather Heli Ski was originally created for ski guides in western Canada who needed a reliable and warm ski glove for long, cold days in the snow. This 3-finger women's glove has a narrower cut to fit women's narrower hands but is sewn in the same hardwearing, weather-resistant combination of goatskin leather and 3-layer polyamide fabric as the men's version.
